project focus: Branded Internal Communications

Our partnership with McDonald’s focuses on developing or refreshing branded internal communications from the corporate office to franchisees. The specific communications promote development and recognition initiatives.

Strategy

As much as TLAS loves to be referred to new clients, it was energizing to be referred as a design resource to Illinois based McDonald’s. TLAS was initially assigned the task of creating sustainability icons to be the center of the company’s sustainability initiatives. We then went on to create additional branded internal communications.

 

Sustainability Icons

Based on an illustration of a burger, we followed the same illustration style to develop 7 additional icons representing sustainability initiatives important to the company through additional handouts and presentations.

 

Sustainability Plan

To promote the newly branded sustainability plan, a series of marketing pieces were created. We again partnered to create a tri-fold pamphlet,  a digital version for internal distribution to franchisees and a thought cloud to be included in presentations.

 

Diversity Initiatives

Most recently McDonald’s contracted TLAS to create a handout highlighting the newest initiatives impacting the U.S. Chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Team. This project required creative delivery of content as an 8.5×11 canvas calls for a skilled production artist to deliver engaging and efficient design. The use of color and font create the hierarchy needed to deliver the message.
